    Re: PGR 3 Car List - Cars = 80 / ? = 05 (Last Update 09/11/05)

oh yeah and ford no longer is the most succesfull manufacturer at motor sport.

porsche over took them in the 90's with le man victories and ferrari have been dominant at mostly everything since the 70's and 80's.

ford only really had victories in le man in the 50's and 60's and a few in formulas one in the 80's.

if you can call cosworth ford anyway, because that there is a couple of ENGLISH  blokes call richard COSford and brianWORTH.

and the only way ford did good at le man was by running 3 cars to everyone elses 2

one should get ones facts straight too.

oh yeah the sledghammer. only made 1 and its made by a tuning company and not a mass production road car. anyone can put a massive turbo and light weight engine parts in a car that will now have even more problems going round corners.

america has never had a production car off the line thats a great all rounder. name me one that been in the top ten fastest, best handling and quickest acceleration nd I'll suck your famillies manhood.

I can place your attention a an evo 9 in my country that has 1100 bhp, and that gets to 100 well before 5 seconds but thats not a production car so I ain't bragging about it.

if you can beat the TVR Typhon, SLR mclaren, ascari KZ1, radical xtr, aerial atom supcharged, dax rush 3 litre, caterham evo r600, and the ultima gtr.

this selection of cars would make anyone wet and any yank jealous

so explain how an engine producing 500 gets an extra 35 to the wheels, there must be no friction at all through the engine.

its actually the engine that produces 535 and it looses 35 to the drivetrain and gear box.

no car can gain power upon leaving the engine its physically impossible.

not sure you know much about engineering

dude the engine produces 550 at crank.  The drivetrain is midengined so it has a low loss of power and makes about 535 to the wheels.

Ferrari hasn't won a LeMans since Ford beat them in 66, 67, 68, and 69.  In the 66' 1-2-3 victory the 4th car which was a Ferrari was over 125 miles behind when the GT-40s passed the finish line.  The GT-40 MK-I beat almost every record set in Daytona and beat the track record at LeMans the first time it went in 65'.  The GT-40s were also the first cars to break the 200 mph barrier at the track and the GT-40 MK-IV was recorded exceeding 230 mph.  Mess With The Best Die Like The Rest.  Semper Fi ***.

I geuss you also mean cars and engines made by America.

    CC8S - uses a Ford V8
    CCR - usses a Ford V8
Ford GT - Beats almost ever European production car even around track.
Saleen S7 - I'm amazed you never even thought of this car
    Viper SRT-10 - Hmmm another.
Saleen S7-TT - ohhhh your fucked
and if we go non production how about the Lola Ford which can keep up with an F-18 till 220 mph.

you need to go find something do with yourself.

Ford Motor Company is one of the most successful companies when it comes to Professional Racing and has been for 100 years and your stupid little arguement won't change anything about it.

    Re: PGR 3 Car List - Cars = 80 / ? = 05 (Last Update 09/11/05)

the viper is the worst handling and looking car to ever come out of a bulls a r s e.

OH YEAH WHEN IT WAS ON TOP GEAR, THE UK'S BEST MOTORING TV SHOW, IT SET ITSELF ON FIRE AFTER JEREMY CLARKSON SPENT 10 MINUTES THRASHING ROUND A RUNWAY.

    NUFF SAID

you see the trouble with american cars is they fall apart. thats why its cheaper to buy a car in america, ship it to england and pay for fuel for a year and still have a feww grand in the pocket.I'd never buy a yank car because they aren't safe here in the uk due to our roads being a great challenge with those scary things called corners

there are 3 celeberities in england that sent their ford gt's back after 3 weeks and its all thats been talked about in the best car programmes on tv.

the trouble is, i couldn't spend a few hundred thousand on a car that has cheap cotrols and switchgear like the gt.

and it has a god damn ford focus alarm on the damn thing.

and my original arguement was that it doesn't do 62 mph in 3.3 seconds as this would make it faster than the enzo, slr, carrera gt, koenigsegg, Zonda and a lot of other cars that you could only dream of crushing.

and name me one world championship ford has won in the past 3o years.

oh yeah the saleen, its only as good as the ford gt and no better, and no faster. 3.8 to 62 mph.

and why do you think they took it out of the british gt championship, world gt champiopnship and replaced it with the mosler.

BECAUSE IT CAN'T GO ROUND CORNERS, EVEN WITH TRICK SUSPENSION PACKAGES .

face it, most major racing teams have their headquarters in the uk. becauese we have the best engineering in the world.

even ford motorsport is based in the uk. and that includes the V8 supercar teams that race in australia.

oh yeah this little bit below is copy and pasted off koenigsegg.com. its about that BESPOKE non ford v8 engine they supposedly use in their cars.

your so full of *** and have proven it by trying to say that a car as fast as this is powered by an yank engineWRONG¬!!!!!  its made entirely from scratch in sweden

oh yeah about the f-18 thing. stig blomqvists rs200 can out accelerate an f-15 to 180 and thats only got a 2.3 litre engine.

fighter jets are slow at accellerating beacause they aren't designed to run across the floor. most video clips i've seen of cars and planes, they cars always beat them to a quarter mile.

which lola ford did you mean lola THL 2  oh yeah the ford part means cosworth i would imagine. and lola is a british company based in hertfordshire.

ha ha ha you keep digging this great big hole.

THE CCR ENGINE: INTRO GENERAL DATA

The Koenigsegg CCR is powered by a bespoke supercharged eight cylinder engine, specially developed by the Koenigsegg engineering crew for use in the CCR.

Its pure racing performance power and torque have been achieved whilst maintaining the low weight and superb drivability of the car. The 806 hp Koenigsegg CCR currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most powerful car in series production.

The CCR engine delivers 806 Hp at 7000 rpm and 920 (550 ft-lb) Nm of torque at 5,400 rpm. It is a state-of-the-art Quad Cam semi-stressed V8 construction with a 4.7 litre displacement and 32 valves. The CCR is boosted to its extreme power output by a unique Bi-compressor Supercharging system, which employs twin centrifugal compressors to enable a 1.4 bar maximum boost pressure at 5000 RPM. This system significantly increases power and torque across a broad rev band, and it also includes the revolutionary Koenigsegg RBC-System (Response Boost Control) (pat. pend), which completely obliterates on-off throttling lag time

    Re: PGR 3 Car List - Cars = 80 (Last Update 20/11/05)

Those ratings overrate some cars and underrate others. SRT10 cannot outrun a Gallardo and it has better accleration ratings neither can the 360CS. Murcielago has nearly the same acceleration as the F40/50s same with the Diablo yet its rated at 7 when both cars should be rated at 8. The 3 Lambos should be in Class C.

    Ferrari F40 - 8 / 6 / 7 / 6 /

    Ferrari F430 - 7 / 7 / 6 / 8 / ?
    Ferrari F50 -  8/ 7 / 7 / 6/ ?

    Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale - 6/ 7 / 6 / 7 /
    Lamborghini Murciélago 6.2 - 8 / 7 / 5 / 8 /

    Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 SE - 8 / 7 / 5 / 7 /

    Lamborghini Gallardo - 7 / 8 / 5 / 7 / ?

    Dodge Viper GTS ACR - 7 / 7 / 6 / 7

    Dodge Viper SRT-10 - 7 / 6 / 7 / 7 /

These are what the ratings for the cars should be. I hope bizarre does indeed change them in a patch to come along with downloadable content.

Hey guys, just thought I would bring this to you attention, the Ultima GTR has been serverly underated...
    Huzz put  "534 bhp / 3.9 secs / 204 mph" as it specs, but it is actually 640 bhp /0 - 60 2.7 secs 0 - 100 5.5  / 231 mph this means it is number 1 in 0 - 60 and equal first 0 - 100 and 6th for top speed.
I just thought this car needed to be better recognised as the great car it is... it also holds the world record for 0-100-0   10.3 seconds

I think Huzz got the 2000 modles specs...

and the ultima holds the world record for 0-100-0

it did it in just less than 10 seconds.

    now thats amazing

and watching the video you'd expect it to change gear at least once in that record attempt.

not this car. does 108 in first gear and still gets to over 200mph

People like you make me sick.  You have been on these forums for 2 days, and your first comment was to trash american cars (which you so lovingly call yank cars, ah, so cute).  I don't believe anyone challenged you, and I don't believe anyone said ANYTHING bad about european cars, but here you come, mr patriot, to defend your country's honor.  You seem so adamant about this cause, that I would almost believe you CREATED these cars, yet the only way you are in ANY way related to them, is by LOCATION.  GET OVER IT.  I hope you know, that at the end of the day, after you've finished typing up little refutes and rebuttals on projectgothamracing3.com, and you feel so high and mighty about yourself for defending your country's automobiles, that these companies you stick up for wouldn't care ONE BIT if you dropped off the face of the earth tomorrow.

I don't mind if you want to compare an american car to a european, italian, or german car, for the sake of comparison, but someone like YOU, an ignorant pompous braggart who talks so much and says nothing, deserves no attention or credence.  These companies, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, TRV, and Ford, have accomplished great things, but YOU are just a bystander.  So lose that hollow condescension, because YOU have NOTHING to brag about.  YOU have NOTHING to be proud of.  Remember that.

Bob one thing your an idiot and every European company you just named were to read this would also call you an idiot.  Another i'm not a yank i'm an American get your facts straight.  Any car pulled by two jets will go 0-62 in 3.3s oh and noone said the Ford GT could achieve 0-62 in 3.3s we said 0-60 in 3.3s.  BTW in history the Germans are a better in Engineering than Germany and Japan is better than Germany and America owns all of Japans Engineering companies and America also has the best designers.  While everyone in France wasn't even making 200 mph Ford was exceeding 230 mph+.  Dude you need to get the point America is the biggest country with the biggest stock and we get alot of business.  BTW I love European cars and your just making them look worst and worst.  and yes we can still fit in our cars and some of us be a little big but a big guy isn't going to fit in a Viper but the Ford GT T-Top would allow it.  Its also a fact that European aren't in teh greatest shape either so I would be quiet and stop argueing before you hurt yourself.

BTW Direct Qoute from a GT Owner-

"He probably drives a Skoda and spends his life wishing he had enough cash to buy something else.

Just as an aside, the switch gear in the GT is of a better quality than Aston Martin - particularly the A/C controls and their illumination. The engine build is of superb quality - better than most I've owned, and I've owned most.

    Bob needs a slap."

    Re: PGR 3 Car List - Cars = 80 (Last Update 20/11/05)

that list in the first post is just a few cars that are confirmed at the moment of print.

there no doubt will be a lot more as it is a next gen concolse.

saying that though as the dummies at microsoft didn't give in a go with a high storage media like blue ray i cant see project gotham 4 being any good when it comes to the ps3's future driving sims.

bit dumb making a console of this calibre with a standard dual layer dvd.

and vakamon. may i take this opportunity to congratulate you on your amazing use of ENGLISH grammar.

not quite sure what this means. I'm assuming that it has something to do with your lack of ability to string a sentence together.

    LOL
