YOU ARE CORRECT. BUT AS THE SALEEN S7 TT HAD SLICKS ON THE IT WAS ON A RUBBER LADEN TRACK WHEN IT SET THE 2.8 SECONDS, THIS IS ALS NOT A LEGAL ROAD TIME.
the carrera gt is also not in the same class as the ford gt because this costs twice as much as the gt.
they also say on the saleen website (Which i think is a little bias)
that the saleen is the fastest car in the world.
how when its only got 700 bhp and weighs over a tonne.
not sure bt the koeniggsegg which weighs 1100 kgs and has 806bhp would surely have physics on its side.
and the new zonda F which is the special version like the twin turbo version of the saleen does 60 in 3.1 seconds with road tyres.
i also applaud you to take notice of the sagaris. actually had a go in one on a runway over christmas, i might say. i was shaking when i found the strenth to get out.
and the sagaris is only £45.000 what a bargain. but wait for teh typhon if they ever make it. gonna be another cerbera speed 12 which will probably be deemed unsafe and only have one ever made.
if you've ever seen a tv show called top gear in england they have a made up track on an airfield, each show has a car which sets a lap time. it is very accurate as the same guy drives the cars and has plenty of practise laps.
