I just sat in the Tournament lobby for 14 minutes (getting booted twice; reentering lobby [very common] waiting for my elimination round.

With 1 minute to go I got the "cannot continue" message and went through the usual process of re-entering the lobby.

 Except, I got a message saying that I had not entered the lobby in time and now it was too late to get in the race.

What's the deal; and is there anything I can do?
